PES Membrane
Polyether sulfone(PES) is primarily composed of benzene rings, ether bonds, and sulfone groups in its sructural formula. The ether bonds make the molecular chains highly fluid in the molten state, making it easy to mold. The sulfone groups can enhance heat resistance. The sulfone groups on voth sides are conjugated benzene rings, which increase the thermal stability of the molecular chain. Compared with other polymers, PES has excellent mechanical, chemical, and thermal stability, and is easy to process, making it an excellent material for the preparation of filter membranes.

Membrane Solutions polyethersulfone (PES) membranes are produced using a unique process, and compared to other membrane varieties, PES membranes have very good water wettability, so PES membranes have extremely high water flux. PES membranes exhibit very low protein adsorption capacity and are widely used in sterilization and filtration of liquids and filtration and clarification in food, medicine and other fields. -

Membrane Solutions Hydrophobic PES Membrane is prepared by hydrophobic modification process of sterilizing grade PES hydrophilic membrane, which is specially designed for rapid air filtration or sterilization ventilation, and it can also prevent liquid penetration or condensate clogging. Compared to traditional gas filtration media, PES hydrophobic membranes are resistant to Gamma irradiation and have virtually no change in mechanical properties after high-dose irradiation, making them particularly suitable for air sterilization applications that require irradiation sterilization.

Membrane Solutions PES membrane is formed by the NIPS system, which mainly includes the phase separation and phase transformation stages, which are jointly determined by the thermodynamic properties of the casting solution and the kinetic properties of the phase transformation process. The membrane surface has uniform pores with narrow pore size distribution, high separation precision, low dissolution, low protein adsorption, no secondary pollution, and has good chemical resistance, hydrophilicity, high flux, and good strength, and is widely used in water treatment, food and beverage, biomedicine, industria1 filtration, and microelectronics industries.
Traditional PES microporous filters are mostly hydrophilic.MembraneSolutions has developed a hydrophobic PES microporous filter specifically designed for fast air filtration or sterilization ventilation to remove pollutant particles and microorganisms from gas, while preventing liquid penetration or condensate blockage.Thehydrophobic PES filter has better permeability than PVDF filters and inherent superior gamma resistance compared to PTFE filters, making it suitable for a wider range ofapplications.
